Life is hard at the moment. How many of us have questioned :
"Is this the life we really want to live?"
Cuba showed me that instead of numbing ourselves, we could let passion be our guide.
The buildings in Havana allude to the decay of its civilisation; like a metaphor for the burden her people bear. But to let ruin one part of your soul is to let another shine brighter to compensate.
The Cuban people have a richness of spirit that belies the hardship. A contrast that is played out in the daily choice of life over death - richness over decay.
